A kind Malvern resident has transformed a couple's vandalised car and now it looks almost as good as new.
On October 4, Courtney Simmonds, 21, and her partner Matty Degutis, 24, woke up to their car having been vandalised.
The couple, from Elgar Avenue, described the ordeal as "distressing", however, a neighbour has stepped up to try and help them to fix the damage.
Dean Jackson, who also lives at Elgar Avenue, saw the couple post about what had happened on social media and offered to do whatever he could to help.
He said: "She's (Miss Simmonds) on maternity pay and they've just had a baby as well so that's another reason I wanted to help out.
"I know that she's not in a position to be sat on the cold floor scrubbing away at her car, which she has been and ideally I wouldn't have wanted her to do that because she's not long come out of hospital with a baby.

"I know that Elgar Avenue isn't the nicest area in Malvern but it's not bad, there are worse places.
"I've lived here for 11 years and I can tell you now that nothing has ever happened to this extreme - this is about as bad as it gets.
"When I saw the post, I was angry."
After working on the car for a few days, Mr Jackson was able to remove the paint leaving the car with only the scratch for being keyed.
Mr Jackson said that he will not ask for any payment from the couple, he just wanted to help them out and share his knowledge.

"I like detailing my own car and I've got fairly good knowledge of car detailing so I thought this is a bit of a challenge, why not give it a go?
"I've just come in from a whole day working on it and now it's relatively back to normal.
"They keyed the car all the way around and then spray-painted it with three different types of paint.
"I can't sort the scratches because they are really deep but I've managed to sort the rest of it out which is great so I'm really happy with it.
"You wouldn't believe it, the car looks absolutely stunning.
"It looks so shiny but the only thing that lets it down now is that horrible scratch, really."
