WORCESTER City Council has revealed what people should do if they have been charged from a city car park amid the ongoing technical issues.
Card payments from the council's city centre car parks have been suspended after an error led to drivers being charged several times after purchasing one ticket.
The council is urging people who have been charged due to technical issues to contact their bank in order to get the money refunded.
However, the council has said it will reimburse people who are unable to get the money refunded by the bank.

A spokesperson for Worcester City Council said: “Anyone who believes that they have had duplicate payments taken from their account should contact their bank in the first instance, as most banks will have processes in place which will allow the money to be refunded.
"Anyone whose bank is unable to provide a refund should contact the council at parkingoffice@worcester.gov.uk – we will ensure that everyone is reimbursed for duplicate payments.
“We have instructed our third-party provider to cease processing any more historical payments for the time being and to disable the card option on all our machines until we are certain that this issue has been resolved.”

The issue may have affected anyone who has used a credit or debit card to pay for car parking from the 29th of August 2022 to date and the council is working with its service provider to ensure the issue is resolved as swiftly as possible.
Andy Gynn, who is a chef at the Oil Basin pub, said he was left feeling annoyed when he realised over £200 had been taken from his bank account for parking he hasn't done.
Mr Gynn said: "I park at Newport Street car park or Copenhagen Street car park around three times per week since June.
"Yesterday, I had three payments taken out for St Martin's Gate car park.
"I got in touch with my bank because I thought that someone had used my card, but, this morning I had 20 parking transactions taken out through another bank card - all of them at the same time."
