A motorcyclist had to be rushed to hospital after a crash near Malvern.
Emergency services were called to the B4208 in Welland last night following reports of a crash between a car and a motorbike at the junction with Blackmore Park Road.
Ambulance crews arrived shortly after 8pm and found the rider of the bike, a man, with serious injuries.
He was subsequently taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike at the junction of Blackmore Park Road and the B4208 at 8:16pm last night.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was the motorcyclist.
"He was treated for serious injuries, not believed to be life-threatening, before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham for further treatment."
WMAS confirmed that one ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, a BASICS doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car all attended the scene.
West Mercia Police officers were also in attendance, with the road being closed as a result of the crash.
According to the AA traffic map, the road has since reopened.
Police have been contacted for further information.
