NODDY and Big Ears brought old-fashioned family fun to Worcester Racecourse.
The rising temperatures helped bring larger than expected crowds to the family fun day at the racecourse on Sunday.
Children also played on a bouncy castle, had their faces painted and had close encounters with snakes, ferrets, spiders, centipedes and rabbits at the Petwise Zoo.
The money raised, which has yet to be counted, will go towards Hall Green Greyhound Rescue. Jenny Cheshire, hospitality manager at the racecourse, said the fun days were vital to the racecourse after the devastating summer floods last year.
The racecourse is holding its first back-to-back race meetings on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, which includes the popular ladies' day event in aid of St Richard's Hospice with novelist Jilly Cooper as guest of honour.
The next family fun day involves the Red Devils and is on Sunday, June 8, at noon.
