A MAN was taken to hospital after being assaulted outside a bar in the early hours of the morning.

He suffered significant head injuries after the assault near Slug and Lettuce on Friday, September 23.

On the same night, a woman was also assaulted and was left with minor injuries outside Marks and Spencer on High Street.

Both of the assaults took place around 1.50am and 2.10am and West Mercia Police is hoping to speak to two women and two men.

The first incident occurred outside Marks and Spencer on the High Street when a woman was assaulted.

The second incident happened on the corner of The Cross and St Nicholas Street, to the side of the Slug and Lettuce bar.

The people in the pictures may be key witnesses to both incidents and police believe they can help with enquiries.

Officers want the four to get in touch as soon as possible.
