A motorcylist has been seriously injured after colliding with a 4x4 range rover in Herefordshire this morning.
A man in his 20s suffered serious head and chest injuries during the collision which happened on the A4103 outside the Land Rover offices just before 11.15am.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received a number of emergency calls and an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and the county air ambulance were immediately dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "The motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his 20's, was treated at the scene for serious head and chest injuries.
"He was immobilised using a spinal board and neck collar and airlifted to Selly Oak Major Trauma Unit for further assessment and treatment."
"The hospital was pre alerted to the man's serious condition and imminent arrival."
