ANTIQUE heirlooms and treasures are hard to come by at your average car boot.
Then again, the country house car boot sale and fun day being held at Madresfield Court, Malvern, is not your run-of-the-mill clear out.
On Sunday, May, 18 the Worcestershire Ambassadors will give bargain hunters the opportunity to buy and sell hidden treasures while raising money for the Worcestershire Community Foundation, a charity that supports disadvantaged or excluded communities.
Georgina Britten-Long, from the organising committee, said: "Our aim is to attract 80 to 100 quality posh booters' who will be rummaging through their attics and cupboards for treasures to be sold on the day. The emphasis is on antiques and decorative arts, but the event promises to be an all round treasure trove. Everyone is welcome either as a car booter or to come along to enjoy the day."
