PUPILS at Oldbury Park Primary School in Worcester have produced their first CD.
More than 400 pupils at the St John's school worked with The School Recording Stars company on the CD, which features a bonus track from the staff choir.
Music teacher Sophie Hughes said: "The pupils worked hard to learn their lyrics, and many children had solo parts to sing.
"Each pupil was rewarded with a certificate in recognition of their achievement, and the CDs will be available to buy from the school in a couple of weeks.
"A competition was held in March to design the CD covers and the winners were Georgina Owen and Reece Hodges."
Tracks vary from Ben E King's Stand By Me, to Disney's Chim Chim Cheree, and the popular Consider Yourself from Lionel Bart's Oliver! to a song about The Gruffalo.
