ROAD works on a busy Worcester road have been suspended after technical issues with the temporary traffic lights.
Road works to repair the 'bulging' Fort Royal wall on London Road were set to start on London Road on Tuesday (September 20).
However, the work will actually start on Wednesday (September 21) at 9.30am after the temporary traffic lights were showing red lights in both directions.

There will be temporary lights in place on London Road for up to six weeks and Worcestershire Highways have asked Worcester City Council if they can manually control the lights to reduce and manage traffic as much as possible.
On Tuesday morning, drivers experienced slow-moving traffic on the London Road and a sign was put up to warn drivers to expect long delays.

Jon Fraser, spokesperson for the Worcestershire Highways and Travel said: "Work was planned to start this morning on repairs to the ‘bulging’ Fort Royal wall on London Road, as previously reported.
"The adjacent footway is closed for safety reasons."
The work has been organised by Worcester City Council.
Mr Fraser added: "There was a problem today with the temporary traffic lights showing red in both directions and as a result, works were suspended and the lights removed.
"Works are planned to restart tomorrow after 9.30am and we anticipate the traffic lights will be in place for up to six weeks.
