PUPILS composed atmospheric music for the backdrop to their school production Perf-ormances of i-Portrait.
Children in year 3 at King's St Alban's Junior School devised the music during the spring term.
The production was performed for parents and guests last week and every child in the 180-strong junior school had a part to play.
"At the start of their performance the children appeared in front of scenes of the beautiful Malvern Hills, accompanied by their own class composition," said music teacher Helen Haggarty.
"Their composition was full of natural and relaxing sounds, from the gentle blowing breeze to the busy sounds of the dawn chorus.
"As one year 3 pupil put it, it makes you feel like the world has been taken over by peace.'"
A display of the children's artwork associated with this project is on display in the King's School theatre during normal school hours.
