POLICE are still investigating an assault that took place outside a Worcester pub in August.
Paramedics treated a man with serious injuries in the car park of Good Rest Tavern in Barker Street before he was rushed to hospital for further treatment.
Two women, aged 18 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after the assault, which happened outside the pub at about 8.30pm on Saturday (August 13).
The two women have been released on bail and police say the investigation is ongoing.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "The two people arrested in connection with this incident have been released on bail, and our enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the incident is asked to get in contact with us by reporting it online under the Tell Us About section of the West Mercia Police website quoting reference 705i of 13 August.
"If you are unable to report this online please ring 101."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.28pm on Saturday to reports of an assault on Barker Street, Worcester.
“We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car.
"We treated one patient, a man, for serious injuries and he was conveyed to hospital on blue lights and sirens for further treatment."
Several eyewitnesses said they ran to help the man, who they described as being covered in blood in the car park of the Goodrest Tavern.

A neighbour gave the victim first aid treatment before the ambulances arrived.
She said: "He was hit by a bottle.
"We had to do CPR on him. Then when the ambulance arrived they were also doing CPR.
"He's not in a good way."
The woman said she thought he may have been injured during a fight between two groups.
She said she saw police take away a bottle and a pair of sunglasses.
