A DOG that was loose in Worcestershire village has been reunited with its owner.
West Mercia Police confirmed that the dog is fine and has been returned home after it got loose in Defford, near Pershore.
Police warned the public not to approach it due to safety concerns as they searched for it on Monday evening (September 20).

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Please be aware of a dog that is running loose in the Defford area of Worcestershire.
"The tan and black, long-haired German Shepherd could pose a danger to the public and should not be approached.
"Officers are currently searching the area and if you see the dog, please call 999."
After almost two hours of searching, West Mercia Police confirmed the dog had been found in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).
