The ONE-minute silence in Droitwich was described as "a moving occasion" by an attendee.
An event for the one-minute silence was held yesterday evening (Sunday, September 18) at the Droitwich Lido Park.
A picture, captured by Droitwich resident Clive Brown, shows the crowds gathering before the event.
Clive Brown, said: "The event was a mark of love and respect with the people of Droitwich Spa joining with the rest of the country in remembrance of our Queen.
"It was a moving occasion led by the combined churches of the town and it went very smoothly."
Droitwich councillor, Richard Morris, posted a picture on Facebook of the event last night.
He said: "At tonight's vigil in Droitwich Spa. We remember the great service and sacrifice of our great Queen Elizabeth."
In London, Big Ben tolled to start the beginning of the national moment of reflection and the bell struck once more at 8.01pm as it ended.
