A SCHOOLboy is determined to fight the thieves who keep taking his bike.
Eleven-year-old Andrew Sheppard goes everywhere on his bike, including Stanley Road Primary School every day.
He is now on his third bike in two years after the last two were taken from outside his house, and is appealing for the stolen bike to be returned.
"He uses it for everything you could possibly think of, to go to the shops, to see his friends," said his mum, 35-year-old Tracy Sheppard.
"He loves his bike - it is his freedom."
Andrew's first bike was taken about 18 months ago from outside the front of his house in Medway Road, Ronkswood, Worcester.
His parents bought him a new one, but on Saturday, April 19, this too was taken from the back garden, when theives let themselves in through an unlocked gate.
Mrs Sheppard believes the bike was targeted because of its disc brakes as there were more expensive bikes in the garden which could have been taken.
The bike was a blue and white Halfords Apollo Demolition with a quick-release front wheel.
The theft has been reported to West Mercia Constabulary.
