Groups of youths were fighting and causing a disturbance outside the Deers Leap, Droitwich Road, when three vehicles had their windows broken about 11.30pm on Friday.
A man who attempted to intervene on seeing the vehicles being damaged was then assaulted and left with a broken arm and bruising.
A further two vehicles were then damaged on Crown Street and two cars also had their rear windows smashed while parked on the driveway at an address in Longfellow Road.

"One man was also left with a nasty injury during this incident and we would like to hear from anyone who has any information or saw anything suspicious in the area on Friday night."
