A MAN has admitted criminal damage but denies an assault charge. 

Brennan Kilner appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, (September 15), and admitted criminal damage to property.

Magistrates heard he damaged the window of a property in Worcester on August 4 this year. 

The 24-year-old, of no fixed abode but previously of Sidbury, Worcester, also denied assault by beating.

The victim of that alleged offence is a woman - the crown saying it was part of the same incident as the criminal damage.

At the end of the short hearing chairman of the magistrates bench, Michelle Edwards, told Kilner to attend his trial for the assault charge which was scheduled for December 2 at Kidderminster Magistrates Court. 

Kilner was given conditional bail, which includes the condition he must not contact the alleged victim.
