PARTY: Labour
OCCUPATION: Retired social services manager.
AGE: 62.
I have represented the Gorse Hill area for the past 10 years and have always been active in local community groups and associations.
I am chairman of CAP360, which runs the community centres in Tolladine and Warndon, both of which provide much-needed facilities for the Gorse Hill area.
This council is not doing enough to provide the affordable homes people in Gorse Hill desperately need.
We also need the council to give greater priority to tackling anti-social neighbours; rogue landlords and under aged drinking.
We also need more facilities for young people, not further Tory cuts to services.
