AN eight-year-old boy has been injured in a rugby tackle in Herefordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Ledbury Rugby Club just after midday yesterday.
A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle attended as well as an ambulance crew and the County Air Ambulance from Strensham.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "On arrival, crews found an eight-year-old boy who had injured his neck in a rugby tackle.
"He was immobilised using a spinal board and neck collar before being flown to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
