ELVIS will be rubbing shoulders with Puccini for one night only at the Worcester mayor's charity ball.
The Worcester Male Voice Choir will perform a diverse programme of music at the concert in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and the British Red Cross at the Guildhall, on Saturday 10 May, at 7.30pm.
Young saxophonist Simon Powell, of Bromsgrove School, will appear as guest soloist.
People can look forward to a range of musical styles including Puccini's opera classic Nessun Dorma', The Lost Chord' by Sir Arthur Sullivan and American Trilogy', Elvis Presley's 1970s hit.
Coun Stephen Inman, Worcester Mayor, said: "I am looking forward to hearing the choir's interpretation of these well-loved classics, as well as some lesser known pieces.
"I hope to welcome as many people as possible to what promises to be a very entertaining evening."
Tickets are available beforehand from Worcester Tourist Information Office at the Guildhall or by calling the Mayor's office on 01905 722001, or at the door on the night.
