HOUSEHOLDERS are being urged to turn over a new leaf for spring and recycle their garden and kitchen waste.
Worcestershire County and Herefordshire Council are teaming up to back the Government's Recycle Now Home Composting campaign for another year, following its launch last year.
Residents are being asked to do their bit for the environment by buying compost bins and recycling their grass cuttings, cardboard, teabags, vegetable peel and a variety of other domestic waste.
The campaign offers incentives to would-be composters by offering cheap bins, advice and tips on what can be composted.
The drive has been a success in Worcester with the sale of 14,168 compost bins in a year.
City residents will be able to buy the Comp 220 litre bin available for £12, the Comp 330 litre bin for £15 and the KOMP 250 for £40.
