PILES of children's toys pulled in a crowd of shoppers when a new store opened in Droitwich.
The Acorns shop opened on Saturday, April 20, and money raised at the St Andrews Street store will be spent helping support the families of life-limited children in Worcestershire.
Janice Smith, Acorns' head of retail, said: "People's support has been brilliant.
"They have donated so many goods, especially toys and children's clothing, including an enormous Postman Pat doll with a 2008 annual, for a great launch day.
"We're really excited to have our first shop in Droitwich."
The shop also wants to hear from volunteers or people willing to help in the store for a couple of hours a week.
Anyone having a spring clean is urged to bring donations to the store between 9am and 5pm.
