REGULAR readers of your Worcester News will have been following the adventures of Steve and Sarah Barney in their new life in Italy.

Both former press photographers, Sarah worked at your Worcester News and decided to give up the hustle and bustle of daily newspapers for a slower pace of life.

They have spent the last 12 months renovating a property in Puglia.

Now they have launched their new venture Capture La Vista' which offers digital photographic tours to historic towns, monuments and surrounding areas not to mention sampling some of the delicious food and wine in the area.

The property has two en-suite rooms for those on the digital photo holidays and B&B. The classroom-free workshops are aimed at inexperienced and holiday photographers who own a compact digital camera. All guests will experience a variety of photography including, landscapes, portraits, still life and candid.

Sarah said: "When people visit here we want them to walk away with the same love that we have for this unspoiled region.

"Everyone who has visited us has said how peaceful and relaxing it is here and how difficult it is to get up in the morning. Now that is either the clean air or the local wine!

"Our home is located in between Ceglie Messapica and Martina Franca. We are only five minutes from town but still in an area of beautiful countryside. Ostuni - the white city, a mediaeval, walled hilltop town - is only 15 minutes and the nearest beaches are 35 minutes away with a choice of two coastlines."

Workshops will run from next month with a variety of dates throughout the year.
