A NURSE from Worcester enjoyed an exclusive date with a Birmingham DJ which she won on an internet auction site.
Sarah Tongue, of St John's, managed to bag the date with Heart Breakfast's Ed James after bidding for the event on eBay to raise money for a children's charity.
Mrs Tongue made the winning bid of £401.99 and took two of her friends along for the date.
The women work for the Worcester-based Rely Care Agency which supports people with learning and mental health disabilities and difficulties.
The company has been operating since 2001, specialising in delivering support in the community to service users who have learning disability/difficulties and mental health difficulties .
The company kindly donated the money as a belated Christmas party for the girls and as a way of supporting a charity cause.
Mrs Tongue, 43, said, "I'm an avid Heart listener and saw this as a fun opportunity to meet Ed and the team."
