Party: Labour
Occupation: Works for children's services at Worcestershire County Council.
Age: 54.
I was born in Worcestershire and have lived locally for some years.
Previously, I have worked for the police and also the RNIB as an assistant area fund-raising organiser.
I believe that people in Claines are getting a poor deal from the Conservative council, despite recent council tax rises.
Local people tell me they want a weekly food waste collection to eliminate smells and possible vermin.
It is also the right thing for the environment too.
A wheelie bin system that collects garden waste for composting would be valuable for many residents.
