Party: Liberal Democrats
Occupation: Air traffic management consultant.
Age: 62
I work on systems to prevent collisions between aircraft.
I live in Ombersley Road, with my wife Sue Askin.
I have three children and a grandson.
As a councillor on Malvern Hills District Council, I was leader of the Liberal Democrat group, chairman of the administration and finance committee, and member of a special panel set up to improve the financial efficiency of the council.
I believe very strongly in eliminating inefficiency and unnecessary expenditure so that more can be spent on community services.
On Worcester City Council, my main objective would be to reduce traffic in the city centre.
