WORCESTER mums have signed up to walk around the city at night and raise money for St Richard's Hospice.
The mums from Cherry Orchard Primary School, Timberdine Close, and Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Primary School, Bransford Road, will don their trainers on Saturday, July 5, for the hospice's charity Midnight Walk.
Starting from County Hall, Worcester, as the clock strikes 12, they will walk a 10-mile circular route under a moonlit sky.
Women can still enter the walk and men are being invited to help out.
St Richard's fund-raising manager Tricia Cavell, said: "This is set to be a truly memorable event and a great girls' night out. We have almost 500 women registered already and the atmosphere should be incredible. Ladies can dress up or dress down and we are asking all women to get their friends, family and colleagues to join us."
Money raised will go to the hospice in Wildwood Drive, Worcester, which cares for patients with cancer and other illnesses.
For a registration form call the fund-raising department on 01905 763963 or download the leaflet from www.strichards.org.uk.
Registration costs £10 and walkers are encouraged to get sponsorship.
