THE birth of their baby boy has added to the joy of a Worcester couple who became engaged after a proposal through the pages of your Worcester News.
Michelle Frost helped keep up the old tradition of women proposing to men during leap year by placing an advertisement in the personal columns of the paper asking her partmer Lyndon Oliver to marry her on St Valentine's Day.
Now, the couple, of Ambleside Drive, Warndon, have another happy event to celebrate after their son Charley-Joe arrived safely on Thursday, April 3.
He was born, three weeks early, at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, weighing 6lb 2ozs.
He is little brother to the couple's other son Tyler, aged two, along with Miss Frost's children Kayci, eight, and Ryan, five, and Mr Oliver's children Wesley, 13, and Aimee, 11.
Mr Oliver, 36, said: "Everything is perfect now so we can start making plans for the wedding."
Miss Frost, 27, said: "We are planning to go to Cyprus and we need to sort it out now.
"The wedding will be next August."
