ART and craft lovers will be able to browse around a popular market when it returns to Worcester's High Street this weekend.

Around 20 stalls will display stained glass pieces, outdoor ironwork, jewellery and hand carved wooden rocking horses and bowls.

Wedding stationery and handmade bags and toys will also be among the arts and crafts on show during the Arts Market.

Stalls will be in place at the top of the High Street, between Pump Street and the Elgar Statue, from tomorrow until Sunday, April 20 and organisers from VisitWorcester, which is responsible for city centre management, events and tourism in the city, are hoping the market will attract thousands of visitors.

VisitWorcester's events manager, Angela O'Neill said: "The interest generated at the last event in November was huge and with wonderful displays and gift ideas there is something for everyone and we expect a high level of interest."

The market will be open between 9am and 5.30pm on Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, April 20.
