A NEARLY-new sale will take place at Northwick Manor Infants' School in Worcester later this month.
The event, on Saturday, April 26, from 1pm to 3pm, will raise money for the school, St Richard's Hospice and also those selling the items.
Three previous sales, over the last two years, have raised more than £350 for the school and £200 for the hospice. They have also proved very popular with more than 150 people through the doors.
St Richard's, based in Wildwood Drive, Worcester, cares for people with cancer and other terminal illnesses.
Sarah Bramhill, the event organiser, said: "The idea behind the sale is to encourage people to re-use and recycle unwanted items, re-coup some of their cost and also help out two worthwhile causes - school and St Richard's Hospice.
"Everyone involved last time was quite overwhelmed by the sale, what was in it and what bargains could be had, and the fact that everyone feels like they are winning. We are hoping the event later this month will prove even more popular.
"We had a tremendous number of items to sell last time, particularly baby clothes and equipment at great prices.
"We also need more sellers with clothes for the older age range."
