A ROAD was partially closed in Worcester this afternoon following a two-car crash.
The incident happened on the junction of Canterbury Road and Newtown Road at around 2.35pm today, and involved a black Vauxhall Astra and black Fiat Punto.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene and one female, in her late 20s was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital for a check-up.
A spokesman for the ambulance said three people in the one car were unhurt and in the second car, one lady had slight redness to her chest, while the other was taken to hospital for precautionary measures.
"She was taken to hospital as she had a slight bump to her chest, believed to have been caused by her chest hitting the steering wheel.
"But it was very minor injuries," he added.
The road was fully re-opened at 3.12pm.
