CHILDREN have been getting a closer look at nature by examining the interior of a wasp nest.
The enormous structure has been examined by pupils from Callow End Primary School.
The school, in Upton Road, Callow End, near Worcester, were given the nest - no longer containing wasps - by a member of the public.
John Harber, 48, discovered the impressive specimen at his home in Woodland Close, Perdiswell, Worcester, in February.
Reluctant to throw it away, he put an appeal in your Worcester News for someone to take it off him.
"One of our parents saw the article and thought it would be great if the children could study it," said Sue Sawle, headteacher of Callow End Primary.
"Mr Harber was delighted."
