An eyewitness has also revealed what they saw of a crash which closed the main city bridge last night (Wednesday).
Police officers stopped traffic while they dealt with the aftermath of the crash near Worcester Bridge at about 11pm.
Crowds could be seen gathering around the cars involved at the junction of All Saints Road and the A40.

One of the cars ended up side on to traffic and narrowly missed mounting the pavement.
An eyewitness said: "It seems a car had been in some kind of accident and come to a rest horizontally across the road, requiring police to block the passage of other vehicles on that side.
"I'm pretty sure the driver was fine as he stayed nearby and was later removing debris as the car was gradually removed from the road."
West Mercia Police have been contacted for further information.
Several police cars could be seen closing the road while officers coned off the junction.
It is believed the road was reopened in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said it was not called out to the crash.
