A PROLIFIC teenage offender promised a judge he will "stay out of trouble" when he is potentially released in a few weeks' time.
Kyle Cannaway appeared on videolink from HMP Bransford to Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday, (September 14).
We previously reported how Cannaway had been sentenced to 14 months detention in a Young Offender Institution for threatening a boy before punching his mum repeatedly in the breast in Warndon.
The court heard the 15-year-old victim had called his mum after Cannaway, of Ashford Road, Worcester, put his fists up to fight him - only for Cannaway to attack her after she shouted to the thug 'leave my son alone!'.
Cannaway, who has 43 convictions, also breached a criminal behaviour order that tried to curb his criminal behaviour for the 16th time when he admitted assault by beating, threatening behaviour and assaulting an emergency worker.

At the short hearing of his case on Wednesday, (September 14), Judge James Burbidge KC said the prison had highlighted that there had been an error in sentencing on July 27.
The prison said Cannaway had been sentenced for a breach of a suspended sentence when he shouldn't have been as it had already been activated in October last year.
Richard Jones, prosecuting, said the records had been checked and they confirmed the error.
The prosecutor added this would be corrected on their records.
The judge explained to Cannaway, who appeared unrepresented, that the two months for the breach would be removed from his sentence.
The judge said: "Mr Cannaway this may sound confusing, but it is a technical matter.
"It doesn't change the sentence - it remains the same 14 months."
The judge then asked if he had his earliest release date, Cannaway replying "in three weeks your honour".
The judge then asked: "Are you going to stay out of trouble?"
"I am your honour," the 19-year-old replied.
The judge reminded Cannaway, when released, he would be out on licence and still subject to the criminal behaviour order, before adding: "I hope you are able to stay out of trouble".
