A CHURCH near Worcester has been targeted by burglars who attempted to break into safes.
St Philip and St James church, in Hallow, was burgled between September 4 and September 7.
The offenders attempted to break into the safes, resulting in damage and has prevented access to them.
Despite the damage, nothing else appears to have been stolen from the church grounds.
West Mercia Police is appealing for information following the burglary.
