A WORCESTER man has been fined hundreds of pounds for speeding on the motorway.
Usman Khan, 36, drove a BMW 3 Series on the M5, between junctions 5 and 4a heading northbound, at a speed over 50mph on February 2 2022.
Khan, of Brantwood, Worcester, was detected by a speed camera in place to regulate the temporary speed limit on the carriageway.
His verdict was proved in a single justice procedure at Worcester Magistrates' Court on September 9 2022.
Khan was fined £220 and was made to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
He was also made to pay costs of £90 and his driving record was endorsed with three points.
Khan has to pay a total of £344 by October 7 2022.
