A WORCESTER man has been fined over £800 for failing to cooperate with police in regard to an alleged driving offence.
Matthew Heaton, 36, failed to provide the identity of a Mercedes driver, having been required to do so on behalf of the Chief Officer of Police for West Mercia on March 16, 2022.
Heaton, of Lovett Place, Worcester, had his verdict proved in a single justice procedure at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Friday (September 9).
He was fined £660 and was made to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £66.
Heaton also had to pay costs of £90 and his driving record was endorsed with six points.
He has until October 7 to pay the total balance of £816.
