A 'HAPPY' pub in the heart of St John's is now closed in an atmosphere of 'sadness' says a sign in the window.

The Bush Inn in The Bull Ring, St John's, Worcester has shut in mysterious circumstances.

A sign in the window reads: "It is with sadness that we have closed the pub until further notice.

"We all wish the best to our loyal staff who have worked long and hard to make this a happy place.

"We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support."

There is nothing on the sign to indicate how long the pub will be closed for.

The pub is next door to Papa John's pizza takeaway which has also closed, although this closure is said to be temporary.

We reported the summer of 2010 how the Bush closed unexpectedly - although this closure only proved temporary.
