AN antique shop which has been open for 40 years is to close down and is selling all its stock at a discount.
PJ Hughes Antiques in Barbourne Road, Worcester, is hosting a closing down sale after the owners decided to retire.
Jeff Hughes, 76, said he had run the shop with wife Pamela, specialising in antique goods and second hand goods, for the last 40 years.
He said: "All my customers have been great. It doesn't even feel like work."
He cited his age and Covid as reasons for closing down the shop.
Signs in the window offer 'bargains galore' and advise that 'everything must go'. One sign reads: "No reasonable offer refused. Everthing must go."
