A CITY centre art festival featuring giant painted murals is being held in Worcester next weekend.
The Worcester Paint Festival is returning to the city on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18.
The festival has a host of new walls this year, with last year's artwork remaining in place to be enjoyed.
Organisers say that thousands of visitors came to the city last year for the first festival, which was met with a positive response from all attendees.

Mayor of Worcester, councillor Adrian Gregson, said: “Worcester Paint Festival will bring a real splash of colour and inspiration to our city, as local and nationally acclaimed artists make their mark.
"I am delighted that Worcester City Council is a sponsor of this creative and inspiring event.”
For 2022, the festival is bringing international and emerging artists to the city, with names such as Rocket01, Angry Dan, Sophie Long, Zurik1, Takerone, Wietseart, Emic, and Sepr.
Artists Inkie and Curtis Hylton will also be returning this year, alongside lots of other artists
Kate Cox, Worcester Paint Festival director said: “We’re so pleased to be back, bringing another delicious selection of murals to the city.
"We hope you love them. We’d like to thank everyone who has made it possible again from creative input and networking to funding, walls and support.
"Please do get in touch if you have a wall or would like to sponsor us for 2023.”
Worcester Paint Festival has also been working with Ronkswood Community Centre via Platform Housing, and artists 7th Pencil and Helen Haynes, to create a special mural with young people from the area.
The mural has been installed on the side of the centre ahead of the festival weekend.
