A WOMAN has been left unable to sleep at night after her car was stolen from her own driveway in the early hours of the morning.

Shabeena Hussain, aged 28, spoke out after her Black BMW was stolen between 2am and 4am on Friday.

She has not only been left distressed by the night-time theft but is now unable to drive her children to and from school.

The mum-of-three claims two men were rummaging through cars on Perry Wood Walk before eventually stealing her car.

Mrs Hussain said: "I felt awful, I still feel awful, I can't sleep at night anymore, if I hear any noise I think they're coming back. It's giving me so much anxiety.

"I'm clinging onto hope, it wasn't a relatively new car it's quite old, but it has sentimental value."

Mrs Hussain said: "My car was stolen on Friday, I think it happened between 2am to 4am.

"I realised it was missing at around 1pm when I was taking out the rubbish, I thought my brothers or someone in my family had taken my car.

"But my keys were still inside the house and then I also saw my daughter's car seat in the garden.

Mrs Hussain believes the thieves threw the car seat out before stealing her BMW, she said: "They must have lobbed it out to make room for themselves.

"I hope the car turns up somewhere.

"The neighbours said they were quite shocked when they heard what had happened, one of the neighbours said they did see a shadow of a man in the morning [on Friday].

"I think they were young men. I'm grateful they didn't come into the house, I've got young children.

"I wish I could forget what's happened, but school is starting soon and now I can't even take my children to school or pick them up at the end of the day."

Mrs Hussain, who is a housewife, said she has spoken to her neighbours and they said they were shocked to hear something like this had happened.

She said: "My neighbours were shocked, you hear about things like this happening in Worcester but you never expect it to happen to you."
