THE thunderstorm on Monday (September 5) could have marked the end of summer this year.
You might have been glued to your bedroom window till the early hours of the morning watching the lightning or you might have put your headphones in to ignore the whole thing.
Regardless of which side you picked, we've put together a compilation of social media users who caught the eye of the storm on their camera lens.
West Midlands Ambulance Service
First up, we have a video from Courtney from the West Midlands Ambulance Service who caught the storm while on the night shift.

Evesham
A woman from Evesham took to Facebook after being caught up in the storm - fast forward the video to 3.14 minutes and 6.41 minutes to witness some of the storm action.
Malvern
Melissa Hewson managed to capture live footage of the storm in the early hours of Monday morning.
The sky was purple as lightning struck and she even claimed to have heard a plane circulating in the area too.
Wheatsheaf Inn - St John's Worcester
A popular pub in Worcester also took to social media to share its footage of the storm.
The video, which was originally posted on TikTok, shows what the lightning looked like in Worcester.

Birmingham -Sutton Coldfield
Not too far from us in Sutton Coldfield, one Twitter user captured a fantastic picture of the storm.

The Met Office has issued a warning for more thunderstorms today, from around 5pm.
