A BBC documentary charting the past year at an independent school in Worcestershire will be shown next month.
It is one year since Annabel Goodman bought the New Elizabethan School at Hartlebury to save it from closure.
A film crew has been following the progress of the school over the past 12 months. The documentary will be shown as part of a series, called Wonderland, on Wednesday, March 5, at 9.50pm on BBC 2.
Producer Tim Green said: "We thought this was a really fascinating tale and so we decided we wanted to make a programme about the school and what would prompt someone to buy their child's school."
Miss Goodman, a barrister, struggled to find a school that could cater for the needs of her severely dyslexic son, Jacob.
She had sent him to nine schools, including three other private schools, and so when the one school that was helping him to make progress was threatened with closure she took the unique step of taking it over herself.
Miss Goodman set up a company to manage the school and pay its £120,000 annual costs.
