VOLUNTEER health walk leaders are being sought in Worcester to help lead short strolls around the city.
Warndon, in Worcester, is looking to recruit the leaders so it can launch its own walking group. After training, volunteers will lead walks in and around Warndon using public paths, greenspaces and canal towpaths.
Susan Davies, a volunteer health walk leader from Warndon, said: "I have discovered some interesting short walks around Warndon and am hoping other willing volunteers will come forward to join me in leading the walks each week."
It is hoped the group can start in April 2008 leaving from the Glovers Needle where walkers can stay on after for a drink and a chat.
