THREE young air cadets from Worcestershire took to the skies and earned their wings as they got their first taste of flying at an RAF base.
Air cadets from 233 (Pershore) Squadron Air Training Corps were given the opportunity to attempt barrel rolls and loop the loops when they attended a flying school at RAF Cosford in Shropshire.
The cadets were given a 20-minute flight by trained pilots before they were given an opportunity to take the controls and fly the aircraft. Anyone interested in becoming an air cadet can contact the squadron at Pershore High School on Tuesdays or Fridays between 7pm and 9.30pm or call 01386 553964.
