Councillor Tracey Onslow, cabinet member with responsibility for education at Worcestershire County Council said: “Starting school or transitioning to a new school is a real milestone moment in the lives of our young people and we aim for all parts of that transition to be as smooth as possible.

"Every child that has applied for a place, on time, will receive an offer of a school place, we would encourage parents to ensure that the deadlines for admissions are met, to maximise the potential of receiving an offer at one of your preferred schools for 2023.”

Parents and carers can apply for their child’s school place via a secure online portal any time before 12 midnight on the relevant deadline day.
