A FIRE saw 150 metres of bushes and undergrowth destroyed at a beauty spot.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they attended a fire at a field near Perry Wood, in the early hours of Sunday evening (August 29).
Four firefighters used a hose-reel jet on bushes which were scorched by the fire.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to this fire in the Perry Wood area at approximately 6pm yesterday afternoon.
"We sent two appliances from Worcester to attend the fire, which was approximately 150 metres of bushes and undergrowth.
"One hose-reel jet, backpacks and a thermal imaging camera were used to ensure the fire was extinguished."
