A BRIDGE is now open after it was closed following a fatal crash which saw a car sink into a river.
Eckington Bridge is now open with a safety barrier in place to protect the damaged parapet, Worcestershire County Council Highways has confirmed this morning.

An arrest has been made following a fatal crash which saw a car sink into a river.
A 33-year-old man from Worcester has died after a silver BMW and a red Vauxhall Astra collided on Eckington Bridge in the early hours of Friday.
West Mercia Police officers recovered the man from the river but he was confirmed dead at the scene and his next of kin have since been informed.
Another man, 38, climbed out of water and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drug driving.
Another man, who had been travelling in the Astra, suffered minor injuries.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch via 101.
