A LARGE emergency response has been deployed to reports of a man 'unconscious' at a city bus stop.
Police, the fire service and two ambulances attended Newtown Road this afternoon near Ripon Road, Ronkswood, Worcester this afternoon.
One witness said a man had died at the bus stop and was taken away in one of two ambulances.
"The whole section at the bus stop was covered with a green tent," she said.
Two ambulances, three police cars and a fire engine were at the scene until around 4.15pm.
Another witness said: "Police shouted that they wanted some privacy. I saw a male unconscious on the ground. I think it was a lady who called the ambulance. She stood and waited for them.
"A tent was placed over the unconscious man. The police were here really fast."
We will bring you more details when they become available.
