SPECIAL Bikers Breakfast Days have been taking place at a Worcester school this week to encourage pupils and staff to cycle to school.
The breakfasts at Elgar Technology College are funded by Worcestershire County Council's Choose How You Move project, and were offered to everyone who cycles in to school each day.
The Dr Bike Cycle Surgeries, operated by Worcester charity Motov8, on behalf of Choose How You Move, were also at the school to carry out safety checks and minor repairs on pupils' bikes.
Mark Leyland, Choose How You Move cycling project officer, said: "Cycling to school is great fun, great exercise and will kick start the pupils for the day ahead."
The school caterers, AIP, were raffling a bike and pupils had to buy an item at the canteen to receive a raffle ticket.
Elgar Technology College is one of eight schools in Worcester that have received a Bikers Breakfast grant from the Choose How You Move project.
