A poker player from Worcester won a trip of a lifetime to spend 10 days on a cruise playing the game he loves.
Matthew Bowkett, of Brickfields Road, Worcester, won a place on the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise III by entering an online game which saw him coming in the top three of 650 participants.
He was flown to New York, where he then stepped on board a cruise ship and spent 10 days sailing around Caribbean islands and playing poker.
Mr Bowkett, 22, said: "The ship was amazing. It was once the world's biggest cruise ship one year, and going to the islands was an experience."
Mr Bowkett said his job as an accountant helped with his game. "It does help to know the figures and the odds," he said.
